My Story

Hey there, I'm Sheri!

Welcome to ReDun1972, where vintage quilts get a second life and fast fashion gets the boot. I'm the human behind all these one-of-a-kind pieces that prove sustainable fashion can be both cozy and rebellious.

How It All Started

It began with a simple belief: why throw away beautiful vintage textiles when they can become something amazing? Every quilt, blanket, and vintage fabric that finds its way to me has a story—and I love giving them new chapters as wearable art.

What I Do

I hunt down vintage quilts, wool blankets, and forgotten textiles, then transform them into pieces that are equal parts nostalgic and modern. Each coat, skirt, or hoodie is handmade with love (and probably way too much coffee). No two pieces are exactly alike because, honestly, cookie-cutter fashion is boring.

Why I Do It

  • Sustainability matters. Fast fashion? We find your lack of originality disturbing.
  • Vintage craftsmanship deserves respect. These textiles were made to last generations.
  • Everyone deserves to wear their personality. Life's too short for boring clothes.

The Process

Every piece starts with a treasure hunt for the perfect vintage textile. Then comes the fun part—figuring out how to turn Grandma's picnic blanket into your new favourite coat or transforming a 1930s quilt into a hoodie that makes you feel legendary.

Care Instructions for Life

Just like my clothes, I believe in taking care of what matters. Wash cold, gentle cycle—for both your ReDun1972 pieces and your impact on the planet.
